Our philosophy

It should leave you knowing yourself better.

The Leisure Health creates preventive health and leisure journeys in India for international travellers. Each route brings together time for informed care, restorative practices and the pleasure of experiencing the country.

The idea

Health and leisure belong in the same journey.

Life moves quickly. We often pay attention to health only when something demands it. Preventive care offers another possibility: time to understand more, ask better questions and make informed choices earlier.

Travel creates room to step away from routine. The Leisure Health uses that room thoughtfully, without turning a holiday into a hospital stay or confusing traditional wellness practices with medical care.

Come for the journey.
Return knowing yourself better.

Three sides of Arka

Understand. Take care. Enjoy.

The exact balance depends on the confirmed journey and each guest's suitability.

01

Understand yourself.

Diagnostics, medical consultations, dental care, skin and aesthetic consultations, and personalised guidance where the journey includes them.

02

Take care of yourself.

Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, movement, nutrition and rest, presented with clarity about their role and tradition.

03

Enjoy yourself.

Beautiful stays, food, nature, culture, shopping, beaches, mountains and unhurried time between the planned moments.

Why India

Care, tradition and an extraordinary country.

India brings specialist medical services and diagnostic care into the same wider geography as yoga, Ayurveda and some of the world's most varied landscapes.

The Arabian Sea, the Himalayas, Kerala's hills, Bengaluru and Mumbai are not background scenery. They give each The Leisure Health route its own pace and character.

The promise we can make

Clarity before claims.

Medical decisions belong with qualified professionals and depend on individual assessment and suitability. Yoga, meditation and Ayurveda have their own traditions and place within a journey; they are not substitutes for medical care.

Exact providers, properties, prices, treatments and inclusions are confirmed in the written itinerary. The Leisure Health does not promise cures or guaranteed outcomes.

The founders

Meet Harsh and Ghanshyam.

Two founders, bringing their perspectives together around a different way to experience health and travel in India.

Hospitality as connection.

Hi, I'm Harsh. I studied hospitality for four years, but the part that stayed with me was never simply hotels. It was how thoughtful hospitality can connect people to places, to one another and sometimes to themselves.

I have always been an explorer. Travel has given me quiet nights beneath unfamiliar skies, mornings in the mountains and conversations with people I might never have met otherwise.

I began The Leisure Health to create journeys with that same possibility: time to slow down, understand yourself more clearly, experience India and reconnect with nature.

Room to be present.

Hi, I'm Ghanshyam. I have a background in software engineering and am a yoga trainer certified by the International Yoga Association. Yoga and meditation are central to how I think about wellbeing. For me, they offer a way to slow down, pay attention and make more considered choices in everyday life.

India's ancient sciences and traditions have shaped this belief. I value the space they give to practice, reflection and the relationship between how we live and how we feel. They deserve to be approached with curiosity and respect for the cultures that carry them.

That is what I want to bring to The Leisure Health: the chance to experience these practices in India, alongside clear clinical guidance and time to enjoy the journey itself. Each has its own place, and together they make room for a more thoughtful way to travel.

Our purpose

A broader idea of health travel.

A holiday and taking care of yourself need not be mutually exclusive.

Our purpose is to make preventive health, wellness practices and memorable travel feel like parts of one considered experience. The route should be clear, the care appropriately framed and the country given room to be experienced.
